"Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room."

"the hotel is nicely placed near to Sandown Town centre and the beach. The hotel is large and is set in lovely grounds. Things that could be improved: - there was woodlice in our room, would be nice if these were eradicated - there is no footpath from the front of the hotel to the pavement outside the hotel. It means you have to walk along the access road to the hotel. Not nice with kids. - the breakfast is until 9am but by 845am was looking very tired. Would be good to have it properly refilled until 9am. - apart from the pool table there is nothing for children to do, this hotel is very much aimed at the retired short-break community. Overall the hotel was ok and served its purpose plus has red squirrels outside!"

"Great two night stay in August. Property was clean and hosts were very welcoming. Swimming pool and sauna on site were perfect. Would recommend."

"Stayed here for a week. Got back today!! The garden is a magical dreamland!! We watched red squirrels every night play in the big oaks over our heads. Ate BBQ and drank local beer. Would absolutely recommend this property. Added bonus of air conditioning!!!! Which we didnt see advertised. Go here its lush"

"The place is lovely, was able to throw all the lounge doors open and get a wonderful cool breeze such a break from the heat at home. It's so quiet it's a dream. (Well... apart from the resident wood pidgeon, that is! 😂). I'm looking forward to seeing a red squirrel now."
