"Throughout our stay there was a terrible smell of sewage in the hotel especially in the lobby. The doors were kept wide open to have fresh air come in. It did not help. Talking to the staff they pretended that everything is in order. The room was warm so we opened a window. Had to shut it off immediately because of the smell. We ate at the Michelin star restaurant at the hotel. One of the worst meals we ever had. the food was mediocre, and, every now and than a smell of sewage was introduced...

"The accommodations were very good as were the service and the breakfast buffet. Only problem is that central Chiusi is not a walkable distance from the property. Had to take cabs back and forth, although the man in reception was very helpful in arranging this. No restaurant on the premises but Nanna Rosa is very close to the hotel and the food there is wonderful. "

"For those not familiar with the concept it’s like a B&B in a working farm. It’s located in a very old and beautiful Tuscan farm house. The service was great, breakfast was amazing very local and seasonal…we had eggs with black truffle found on the farm. The farm is 100% organic and so is all the food. Property is beautiful but we were exploring the area so did not spend too much time there. It’s also convenient to the train with a very cheap taxi and super close to lots of amazing wineries. I...
