"Room was very comfortable and ideal for an overnight stay before your flight - my only complaint is that they should have a lift to their car park - the fact that you are near the airport, people would have luggage to carry with them, had to carry my suitcase using their very old and slippery stairs !! Staff wasn't that friendly but hotel rooms were very comfortable !"

"We have stayed several times at the Mitre. Very old building - rooms are very small. But there is an elevator! Which is the slowest one on the planet. There is hot tea in reception and the breakfast hasn't changed in several years. Note to American travelers - washcloths are not provided in most European countries. Bring your own. The Mitre is about 10 minute walk to Paddington train station. The owners are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel."

"On arrival met by very friendly staff. Went straight to my room (6th floor- no lift) on arrival nice large room basic furniture and a sink A double bed (requested) and a single. Shower and toilet same floor couple Mt's away. Comfy bed. I didn't have breakfast on offer till 9am. Great location...quite....and very good value for money!! I will be back and will request lower floor!"
