"For the price which compares favourably with a premier inn - the holiday inn express in Birmingham city centre proved a nice surprise and excellent value - all you can eat breakfast, complementary hot chocolate, coffee, tea throughout day and night, the bar was open until 1am, helpful staff. Modern clean rooms. 5mins walk into the city centre. Will probably book again when visiting Birmingham."

"The location of this hotel is very convenient, especially for travelers with an early morning flight. The self-check-in and self-check-out process was straightforward, and the staff member we met was very friendly, polite, and helpful. However, the biggest issue during our stay was the lack of air conditioning. We stayed during a very warm period, and the room became extremely hot and uncomfortable. As the building appears to be older, the ventilation was not very effective. Even with the window open, there was little airflow, making it difficult to cool the room down. Unfortunately, the heat made it almost impossible to sleep. We managed only about an hour of sleep before having to wake up and head to the airport. While the convenient location is a definite advantage, better cooling and ventilation would greatly improve the guest experience, especially during warmer weather."

"Night staff were fantastic! Our flight arrived in after midnight.They went above and beyond to look after us. 10 out of 10 Room was clean and comfortable. Loved The Espa range toiletries. Breakfast was disappointing today.We especially chose this hotel ,as we stayed here previously , and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. However, today was not so good. Ran out of coffee,plates and glasses.Food not been replenshised quickly long waits. Tables with dirty dishes on. My husband had to wait quite a while for his order. Its ashame as it was like this hotel very much,as we were looking forward to finishing of our holiday here."

"Great modern hotel in central Birmingham. Has a small spa on site which you can use at a discounted rate as a guest. Was surprised to see there wasn’t a pool there but other facilities you can use. You can’t prebook the spa which is a shame, only hope there’s availability on the day. We had an issue with the drainage in our room, however once notified, staff were efficient at relocating and upgrading us for the inconvenience. I found staff to be very polite and attentive. Perfect location for wandering down to the bullring too. Also as a Starbucks onsite!"
