"Our stay at this property was fantastic! The home was spotless, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. We were especially impressed with the thoughtful touches for families — there were plenty of toys that kept our kids entertained throughout the stay. The heating system worked perfectly, keeping the home warm and cozy. Most importantly, we felt completely safe during our visit. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly getaway!"
"Four Stars – Spacious and Comfortable, but Some DrawbacksThe Happy Lodge is a spacious and inviting home with large windows, a well-stocked kitchen, and good climate control in most areas. The common space is large and comfortable, and the location is convenient and easy to access.However, soundproofing is poor—running the dishwasher or laundry at night can be disruptive. Most beds are too soft and not very supportive. Heating works well overall but isn’t great in the bathrooms. Also, guests must take their trash with them, which isn’t mentioned beforehand and is a major inconvenience.Overall, it’s a nice place, but better communication and a few improvements would make it even better."
"Very cozy and spacious. It easily sleeps 8 people. The host was very nice and easy to communicate. He would keep us posted with the weather and instructions for the house. He let us check in and out without any time restrictions. The place is just 20 min drive from the dodge ridge ski resort. The place was very tidy and clean with the exception of the fridge and the microwave. I would strongly recommend it to stay. "
"We spent a weekend in cabin #19 for a weekend snow trip. The cabin is very clean and had lots of room for our guests. The wood stove made the cabin nice a warm. Has full kitchen, with most kitchen tools you would have at home. The upper level is a little noisy when walking around. But it's fine during the sleeping hours, when no one is moving around. I liked that it had separated options for sleeping, and there's a bathroom on both levels. The host was very responsive and polite to my questions. She provided so much cabin/check in detail that I missed a few things (my fault), but she didn't seem to mind when I reached out. My kids enjoyed having their own space to hang out/sleep. I would stay here again."
