"Comfortable king bed. Sofa bed upholstery needs cleaned, otherwise bedroom was clean. Bathroom was clean but in need of some minor maintenance. Carpet in hallways was dirty but otherwise common areas were good. Pleasant breakfast area enclosed with glass and had feel of an arboretum with several live plants. Friendly staff. The hotel served the purpose of a reasonably priced accommodation in close proximity to Channel Island boat."

"My husband stepped into the tub shower and when he turned on the water it became very slick and he fell backwards hitting his back on the back edge of the tub resulting in a cracked/severely bruised rib … they must use some kind of cleaner that made it so slippery …. We found a rubber floor mat and put in to finish further showers during our stay …. It should be posted to definitely use the rubber mat."

"The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. There is minimal staff on hand. The parking was very accessible. The breakfast was great! The room was clean, but the tile floors can use a deep clean. There was a smashed insect stuck to a wall in our room. We came here to rest, so it was perfect. Not a place to come if you're looking for amenities. We had several delicious meals in town. The folder in our room was helpful as it had a list of the best restaurants in town. We would have loved to hike or horseback ride, but the 98 degree weather was prohibitive. The air conditioning in our room worked wonderfully."

"As repeat patrons of this hotel, we consistently appreciate the great staff, nice amenities, clean and quiet ambiance of the property. But if you twist my arm for a suggestion...have an ice machine that guests can simply go to and retrieve ice...that part of asking the desk help to get ice I have never understood."
