"Dated but maintained hotel. Springfield isn’t a great area, but this hotel is located within walking distance of shopping and food. Breakfast wasn’t kept up on, so things that ran out were not replenished (especially the last hour) (like oatmeal, yogurt, etc). Coffee kept running out in the morning. Like the lockout feature from 10pm-10am. FYI…there is a whopping $250 hold they place on your card for incidentals!! I’m 5 days after returning home and still have yet to have the hold lifted. It’s a Hampton Inn, just like most and as expected if you’ve stayed at a Hampton. I’d stay again, but probably not with the $250 hold. There’s equivalent properties nearby with nowhere near that amount and better as far as breakfast and amentities."
