"Nice location and walk into the city. Good gym and views if the river. Coffee in the cafe was not good and the quilt covers on the beds were like tissue paper, therefore I could not regulate my temperature at night."

"I will give one compliment to the staff before I complain- they were very friendly and helpful. But my room was pretty dirty - carpet stains, strange substance splashed on the wall, dog hair built up on the floor moulding, and the return vent for air conditioner caked with dust. The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on in my life- it was like a half inflated air mattress and your butt hits the floor (box spring) when you sit on the bed and your legs are up higher than your back. I did report it and tried to switch rooms but the clerk said it wasn't an option and then the clerk guessed which floor and room number I had so it seems like it is a known problem. I expected more for $250 a night. The free airport shuttle was what attracted me but I would never recommend this place to anyone."

"Luxury hotel next to Harvard Business School. I attended a conference at 1 Milestone, and this was the conference hotel. I was pleasantly surprised overall. The lobby is beautifully appointed, with a large, comfortable lounge area that’s great for working or talking with colleagues. There are plenty of seating options, although more accessible power outlets for charging devices would be helpful. My room was spacious and very comfortable, with a solid bed and down pillows, which I prefer. The onsite restaurant looked great, although I didn’t eat there. Unfortunately, there is no food or beverage service during the day, so you can’t get a cup of coffee while working in the lobby. Free coffee was available early in the morning, but there were no cups when I tried to get some. The restaurant and bar also closed at 10 p.m., which was disappointing for conference guests wanting to continue conversations after dinner. There was no late checkout option either. The Harvard COOP has a branch in the lobby, which is convenient for Harvard souvenirs. At about $700 a night for a king room, the hotel felt expensive given the limited amenities. Beautiful, comfortable and well located, but at this price point I expected more."
