I am also an host/owner, so maybe I have high expectations. But from the get go there were issues. Prior to arrival I was told the property wouldn’t be cleaned until 2 hours after check-in. At check-in there was no TP. I was told it would be there that evening, but it never arrived until the next afternoon, so there was no TP that morning. I was asked to place a mug which we never saw on the screened in porch for someone to pick up. I didn’t like this since they could see into the main living space & the doors had only the cheap turn locks on the door knobs. The AC didn’t work & the inside temperatures were as high as 86. The owner never provided a solution for the AC. The Smart TV could only partially be used since we were never given the 4 digit code when asked. I was surprised to read the host had good communication since responses took several hours & many of the issues were never addressed. Furthermore, the furnishings are worn & outdated & the cold water faucet can’t be turned on easily. If these issues were addressed promptly or at least with compassion, the rating would be better. This is a very poor value location.
