"The location was amazing with lovely views of the country. However, we had real issues with the cleanliness of the property. The issues included cobwebs (in pretty much every room) dirty sheets including the cot, unscrubed loos and soaking wet lounger cushions that had been left out. Whilst an attempt had been made to clean the stair carpet it was clear that a duralex glass had been broken on the stairs as shards of glass were found not only on the stairs but also on the ground floor. "The staff were so friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent as was the quality and comfort of the modern bedrooms. The food and service excellent too. Very good value hotel with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. "

"We loved to stay at this hotel despite other bad reviews. Only big problem the heat. The hotel is not ready when it comes to hot days. There where conditioners but didn't really worked and the rooms where very hot at night and during the day. But breakfast was excellent and so the rest of our stay"

"Very helpful staff. Really polite. Great location for fun fair and sea front walls. Great breakfast offerings but don't leave it too late, as they don't seem to re fill it after half 9 and drinks and pastries tend to have run out. Just get there earlier. Nice pool for an hour now and then, towels provided."
