"I had a great stay at this villa! The rooms were very clean and spacious, and came equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee station, and even a mini stove perfect if you want to prep your own meals. It’s also relatively close to the cruise docking areas, so getting around the island was easy and convenient. The hotel staff will gladly call a taxi for you, but be sure to keep some cash on hand, rides typically range from $6 to $18 per person depending on where you’re headed. My only complaint is the cost of food if you’re eating out every day. The on-site restaurant could use a bit more variety in the menu, and the prices felt a bit steep. That said, overall I can’t complain, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay!"

"Rooms were clean and comfortable with a sleep number adjustable bed. Air conditioning, kitchenette with a microwave, and a refrigerator for some groceries and drinks rounded out a great room for our week’s stay. Beautiful views from open air restaurant that also overlooks the pool. Amazing hospitality and customer service from owners, Libby and Marshall and all of their staff! The Island View Steakhouse was fantastic and we were so happy to celebrate our anniversary there. Marshall the chef is fantastic! We enjoyed the slow braised lamb ragu and the wood fire whole roasted Branzino. Highly recommend!! We were fortunate enough that they just started up their lunch service. My wife enjoyed their Smoked Tomato “Caesar” salad while I loved their Filipino Lumpia Shanghai. Since I’m still going on about how great their food is, don’t sleep on their complementary breakfast during your stay. Great way to start your day in St Thomas. Hopefully you’re lucky enough to be there when they are serving their version of French toast. Again, so good! Honor bar with drinks and snacks round out this review which was both convenient and unique. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. The entire staff were helpful to point out places and give their own recommendations which we found useful. Hope we can visit again soon. "

"We stayed for two nights very comfortably. The view was beautiful as described and the hospitality was helpful and friendly. Taxi driver Joyce was great and we were glad to have her number provided by the hotel. The restaurant was undergoing renovations due to hurricane damage unfortunately, so we didn't get to enjoy that part to its fullest. However, the staff was able to accommodate breakfast, and did have chef Alicia available on Friday evening to cook a wonderful dinner that we enjoyed on the pool deck. She even noticed we had a picky-eating four-year-old and offered a modification to the menu that he devoured. Note on walkability: like much of the island, it's not very pedestrian-friendly. We did walk up to Sib's on the Mountain for dinner one of our nights, but the walk back down in the dark with no shoulder was a bit scary. Sib's was great, but I'd probably do it for lunch next time and take a taxi for dinner--unless the Mafolie restaurant is open again!"
