"The B and b was gorgeous, such a lovely old building and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. My partner and I both loved the character of the building. The tearoom was a bonus and we both said that that was the best cream tea we had ever had. Sitting outside in the garden was just heavenly. The location was great too and with a frequent bus service into Sidmouth and Exeter it was just perfect. We have both said that we will definitely stay there again."

"Had a wonderful time at the hotel the owners made us feel as if we were at home. Staff were excellent throughout the 4 days we spent there . We ate fantastic breakfast at the hotel each morning and was lovely and tasty we ate in the hotel restaurant twice for evening meal which was delicious and large portions. "We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early."
