"This is a very well-planned and well-equipped cottage in a really good location - close to the Abbey and town centre but quiet. We greatly enjoyed our stay there, and recommend it."

Adrian the owner was very nice with plenty of local tips to enhance our stayv and happy to tell you all about the rare breads on his farm. "Wonderful property in a lovely village. Plenty of attractions in the surrounding area. Village pub about 200 metres away. During our stay there was a busy market in the village hall on Saturday morning. Our host was most helpful and the welcome pack was most appreciated "

"Second time we have stayed here. Always a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and had everything we needed and plenty of logs to use in the fire. Fabulous location, in easy reach of some great beaches. Nice pub in the village that served good food, which was a bonus."

"Very lovely cottage. Safe and secure parking at the back. Located on the main road, but well insulated with double glazing from road noise. A short walk to local grocery shop (had fresh fruit and vegetables, and bacon and sausages from a local butcher), cafe, and 2 pubs, plus a great general store (Morgans) which was a life saver when we ran out of calpol and the local pharmacy was closed! All facilities available to make food at home, and i easily managed a home cooked easter sunday roast...

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"
