"We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Definitely will be returning! A fabulous stay. "

"Arrived Sunday so bit of a rush to eat as dinner service finished at 5. Very busy 90% tables taken. Had Sunday roast with veg. Roast potatoes heated up and a bit leathery and meat was from a roll but tasty. Tender veg topped with enormous Yorkshire pud. Great choice of desserts, just too full.
