Exceptionally clean, delicious meal, beautiful setting, beds very comfortable, friendly hospitality. Karen, got up early to make fresh coffee for me at 0600. Second time I've stayed there, will continue as many times as we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Swords Inn. We had no problems. The staff were friendly and helpful. The entire town including the hotel lost electric power the day of our departure, but had little impact on us, except there was no breakfast that morning.

Fantastic stay here! Our kids loved this resort and all the great activities (kayaks, floating jungle gym, games, etc). Lake was perfect for them with a sandy bottom. We got the lake view suite room which was roomier and fantastic view. We heard the other rooms are a bit small. Food was great although breakfast could be better. Kids loved meeting other kids at the resort. We would definitely be back.

The host was waiting for me at check in. Very friendly gave me a tour of the property and said "this is your home for the next few days your welcome to enjoy it all" Very clean and nicely appointed. Excellent location right off Main road.

We spent 2 nights at the inn, a streetside room , with a Balcony overlooking the Main Street of Lakefield. A slow pace in this Quiet town, Loved it. Enjoyed watching playoff Hockey at the Thirsty Loon, a Bar and eating establishment at the Inn. Everyone is extremely friendly, Staff, and people of the town. You can walk about anywhere in town

The owner made checking in very easy and was very flexible about what time we arrived. The bathroom and kitchenette were well appointed; the bedroom was quaint and cosy. The house is only a block from Haliburtonās Main Street, within easy walking distance of many restaurants and stores as well as the library, the post office, and the public park on the lake. This is a great starting point for exploring the many beautiful aspects of the Haliburton Highlands.

The Boniview inn outperformed every expectation I had. Our room was clean the king-size bed, totally comfortable and a spectacular view. My entire hope for this stay was to be able to play with Waters sports. And I did so endlessly canoeing, kayaking and paddle boating. The water equipment was clean and the lake large enough to completely connect with solitude. The food in the dining room was excellent and the outdoor patio lively and delicious. Live music was an added bonus. I would highly...
