"The staff at this hotel (like all staff we met in Chile) was stellar - helpful and friendly, super eager to solve any issue that came up or help us figure out how to get where we needed to go. The location is great and the hotel itself is cute. Our biggest complaint was the lack of ANY mechanism in the room to hang clothes. There were no hooks, no closet, nothing - we ended up fashioning a makeshift system to hang things so our stuff wasn't in a pile on the floor (there weren't even suitcase stands!) There was one small dresser, but when you are traveling you generally want to air things out and de-wrinkle, so it wasn't helpful. Otherwise, it was a great stay. We loved the outdoor seats upstairs where we had our morning coffee - great views of the city!"

"Most of times most places are good but few are exceptional. This is definitely one of the exceptional ones. I just returned home after a visit to Latin America. While staying in this hotel, I had a medical situation that I had trouble dealing with given I knew nothing about the country and place nor did I speak Spanish. The hotel manager and his staff went way beyond their duty. They upgraded my room so I could have an excellent view of the entire city. The hotel manager even went to pharmacies for me. They also managed to get a doctor to come to see me. Their kindness is very touching and I will always remember that. Also, the view and location is probably as good as one can get in Valparaiso. "

"This is an excellent location of the city in a very beautiful city. Our room had an excellent terrace with a view. It is a shared terrace with the next room, but it was private since nobody was occupying the other room. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant downstairs were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is sumptuous. The beds are very comfortable and entire facility is very clean and well maintained. Only thing they should add to their description is the location being next to the ascensor Concepcion. It is a great way to go up and down the hills, especially with luggage. First day, not knowing it, we used the stairs and uphill slopes to reach the hotel from the bus stop. "

"My family slept comfortably in a suite with 1 queen, 2 twin beds, and a a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. The hostel has a very welcoming and warm feel to it. The common area has a fully functioning kitchen and access to fridges that you can store food in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend!"
