"Could use one more comfortable chair in the room. Prefer to have soft closing toilet seat that don't bang shut when you put the toilet seat down. The dining room could have a few more tables and chairs. We noticed families going back to their room because there wasn't any room for them in the dining area. Our bed was very comfortable. The room was very spacious. There was some highway noise, but only heard it in the morning. "

"It’s an old historic building. Very cool if you’re interested in that kind of thing. It does have creaky old wooden floors in spots but not too bad. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture and lamps which I really like. That’s one of the reasons I come back. While it has been remodeled, don’t expect perfection. The building is old. The rooms have a sink but no bathroom. There are several nice private bathrooms in the hallways to use. The restaurant is great. Again in a very cool old building with some original furnishings and a beautiful old bar with stained glass light fixtures.The restaurant also has a movie theatre. You get free movie admission if you stay in the hotel. The only negative thing I can say is there are train tracks a block or two behind the building. Trains run several times during the night blowing their horns. I already knew this from staying here before. The hotel provides earplugs which really help.
