My stay at Los Lagos could not have been anymore magical! The resort is beautiful, so many hidden places to explore. I saw so many birds, lizards, wild boars and other critters during my walks. This is a brand new property, recently built. This hotel has a great location, steps from the Costa Rica Convention Center, there are shopping malls, clinics, restaurants, at walkable distance. There is shuttle service to the SJO airport, Breakfast was great too including costarican typical food. Hope to be staying here again soon!

Hotel is in a new upscale marina area with lovely view. Very quiet and secure with an entrance in lobby allowing you to walk straight to probably the nicest mall in Cancun with many nice restaurants.

Our stay was amazing from our first interaction with the girl down at the front desk who greeted us with a smile right off the bat she was super nice and friendly. Everyone was really helpful if we needed anything they were quick to respond. The rooms were super clean they all have a stove, fridge, microwave & little eating area. The staff at the Bougainvillea welcome and get to know each and every one of their guests. You feel like you are a guest in their own home. The rooms are clean and spacious with great views of the mountain or the garden - I had a tree top view of a flowering Margarita tree - sensational! The dining is good and the prices comparable to most restaurants. Don't expect a bargain as there are none in Costa Rica. Great location in Colonia Americana just one block from Avenida Chapultepec and its many restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc. Very efficient front deck staff and friendly bellmen and housekeeping staff. Good restaurant with breakfast buffet.

Nice clean newer hotel on the Mazatlan malecón with many dining options

The staff are friendly and helpful and speak English very well, which helps those without strong Spanish. The grounds are beautiful! The little hiking trail is fun and the multiple hot tubs with some privacy were a nice place to relax. They even serve food and drinks at the pool! The room was clean, beds were comfortable, excellent water pressure and hot water. We especially enjoyed the balcony with a view of the volcano and were impressed with all the food. We stayed and Studio Hotel for the second time after the first experience was very pleasurable. The rooms are great, the staff extremely friendly, and the location is hard to beat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
