"Our stay at Day’s Away was wonderful. To start with, Becky could not have been a more responsive, helpful or friendly host. The house is perfectly clean. The beds are all comfortable and so importantly in Texas - the air conditioning works great! The outdoor area is perfect. We loved using the canoe and kayaks to enjoy the beautiful river even more. "Great weekend getaway! Everything about the property itself was fantastic! We would love to visit in the summer so we can swim. Melanie the owner was great at communicating. It’s not far from Fredericksburg. Center Point , is a quiet town so will have to take day trips for exploring. "

"We loved the house, and the view is amazing. You can sit in back, listen to the water and birds, and just relax. We enjoyed floating in the provided tubes, and would have tried to catch a fish in the deeper water if my kids hadn't been splashing around in it. Definitely recommend"

"This was our first stay but wont be our last! The property overall is maintained well. Staff was always visible doing things and they are so friendly and organized. The presidential suite vastly exceeded our expectations. It was so spacious and decorated well. The only 2 things I found was 1) there was a strange, and unpleasant smell as soon as you entered the suite. Thankfully iwas only in the entryway and not throughout the suite. And, the 2nd thing is there arent any ceiling fans in any of the rooms. Which isnt a huge deal. We'll know next time we visit to bring our own fans. Our stay was so enjoyable, which makes it easy for us to say we'll be back soon."
