"We had a great extended-family weekend at the Bayou Lodge located in great area on Lake Martin!! If you bring your own water toys, there is boat launch nearby and the boathouse and dock easily accommodates 2 boats and 2 wave-runners. There is very comfortable outdoor furniture on all the porches and decks and a fire pit for night time S’mores. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil or gadget you need for family dinners and other entertaining like our granddaughter’s First Birthday celebration. All the bedrooms are spacious and almost all have private baths. There are so many separate areas for sitting and relaxing that each generation can find their own spot in this house. The hosts were very helpful throughout the planning and check in process and we had no need to contact them during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property for any large group including either a family reunion or corporate weekend retreat."

"The house is a good size and well-furnished for guests. The location was great, and the owner was responsive to questions and concerns and prompt in communicating. Our stay was wonderful and we would recommend the place for friends looking for a place to rent on the lake!"

"Great place right on the water. The common areas and bedrooms were cleaned well there were some areas that could use a little more work like the wine racks were pretty dusty. The kitchen cabinets and utensils were just kind of thrown about so it took some time to find things. Overall the stay was pleasant. Close to Auburn so the drive over for the game wasn’t bad at all."
