"The rooms at Santacroce are clean and comfortable and well arranged. Bathrooms are great. Alessandra was very helpful in organising a parking place and getting us a pass to stop on the street nearby to unload the car. She also gave us several restaurant recommendations, even sending a message with an alternative when she realised the one she had given to us was closed."

"La struttura di bello ha le camere. Ristrutturate , fresche e con un ottimo impianto di condizionamento. Pulizia giornaliera fatta bene. La cosa assolutamente inesistente e a mio parere improponibile è la colazione. Non esiste praticamente. Ci si accinge al banco di un bar a piano terra dove non c'è praticamente nulla di esposto se non 2 pasticciotti e 2 brioche di numero. Certo , ti dicono di ordinare quello che vuoi....ma cosa ? Non esiste un minimo di menù scritto magari con 2 proposte....

"This hotel says it has a 24hr desk in the info. We arrived at 10pm and there was nobody there. Nobody answered the buzzer or the phone. When we contacted hotels.com they said they could not reach the hotel and could not confirm that we didn't stay there, so they refused to give us a refund... even though we booked another hotel the same night from hotels.com. I was expecting a sincere apology but instead have to go through the trouble of disputing this with my credit card. Crazy."

"Se volete visitare il Salento in lungo e in largo questo posto non fa per voi perché è talmente bello e accogliente che vi dispiacerà uscire. Una volta varcata la soglia dell’ingresso si entra in uno splendido giardino (con piscina) e in una magnifica abitazione suddivisa in appartamenti. Magnifico il restauro che ben si sposa con gli arredi e le luci sempre ricercate. I padroni di casa sanno regalare una accoglienza autentica e discreta. Ottima la colazione (non inclusa). "

"L'hotel è proprio ad un passo dal porto. Le camere sono pulitissime e, se avete la fortuna di trovarne una col terrazzo, hanno una vista fantastica. Lo staff è davvero gentile, il titolare Salvatore si è prodigato per farci trovare posto nei lidi affollatissimi ad agosto. Ultima nota, sono una vera mosca bianca per quanto riguarda le misure anticovid. Percorsi ben marcati, prodotti igienizzanti e procedure anti-assembramento in tutte le aree comuni, a cominciare dal buffet."

"We had such a wonderful time at Trulli Monte Madre! Damiano is a gracious host and was there for any questions we had. The property is gorgeous and very relaxing out in the olive groves. "The Villa is well appointed and was clean and tidy on arrival. The local property manager was really helpful on check in and provided plenty of suggestions and help through the week. "Really a terrific place to stay. Simple, efficient, well run, clean and an extremely helpful staff. The staff helped my daughter and I with great suggestions for day trips to nearby towns and beaches, including restaurant recommendations and useful tips on routes, etc. Breakfasts were great. Parking was very convenient and reasonably priced for the convenience of having a dedicated spot rather than constantly searching for street parking and having to pay. I saw some reviews mentioning sound from the bar in the evening but we experienced nearly complete silence in our 2nd floor room. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the region."
