"Hotel in need of some updates, but otherwise not too bad. I liked the courtyard area, it felt safer than just a porch or landing where anyone can walk right up. Lots of security cameras as well. Disappointed that the pool was not filled, but it is only the second weekend in May. (The kids and I were hoping to swim and was part of the reason we booked this one.) Lots of noise outside in the courtyard because of a major highway nearby but the rooms do filter the noise. The key to the outside door...

"12 of us -- 3 generations -- enjoyed the house for a long weekend. The kids braved the pool, while the adults stuck to the hot tub (weather was cool). Trips to the pond and "barn," and a guest house for those of us who enjoyed quiet while the others whooped it up in the main house. Would definitely return for another Dallas-area stay. Host was exceptionally accommodating and helpful."

"We stayed for a week while we installed a gymnasium floor at the new elementary school . The house had everything you would need for a week stay and super clean. The host Eva communicated very well with anything we need. I would recommend to friends and family and would stay again if back in the area"
