"We couldn’t be happier. So cute. So clean. Every single staff member was so friendly.
Cafe was awesome. Grounds are beautiful.
We wish we could just stay forever "
"The property is so well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect if you’re in the city. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Julia, Sher, Mike & Barbie just to name a few, are very kind and super helpful. Will definitely visit again. We had and enjoyable and relaxing stay."
"We had a great time at Belizean Shore Resorts. My parents had an ocean front room (bottom floor) my family had an upper ocean view room and the other party in our group had a pool view room. The ocean front & ocean view rooms had great views and a nice breeze. The pool view room was close to the pool & the office. The grounds are really nice & overall is a fairly small resort which we prefer. The pool & swim up bar are perfect although you will pay double the price for drinks there. The margaritas are great though. The bartenders are awesome & the food ordered at the pool bar is really good. Unfortunately, the sargassum is terrible there .. the water in front is full of it and it can be very smelly. The resort cleans the beach area but you cannot get into the water from the beach right now. Everyone we talked to said this year is the worst they've seen and is up and down the entire east side of the island. The resort sprays for mosquitoes but let me tell you... you must have mosquito spray with Deet. Take ALOT! The resort has spray but you'll pay double for it. We took 4 cans and bought another 3 while there. We also booked the walking food tour, BBQ Snorkel, and Lamanai Ruins tour through the resort & they were all awesome and easy to do with them. I'd suggest using their reservations department to book excursions. We booked 2 golf carts through isla Bonita (they were much cheaper than through the resort). "
"The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are nice, it has a nice gym area, and a pool area as well. The attached restaurant had really good food.
There is nothing to do around the hotel. We walked a couple miles in each direction and it's just construction and homes. Nothing to do. So it seems it is just a nice hotel if you plan to go to the islands the next day. "
"Absolutely excellent resort and diving. The beach was disappointing - you can’t really swim from the resort due to the grass and seaweed. And as romantic as the grass roof was we had critters In the roof chirping and pooping on our bed. They cleaned very well every day but pick the first floor if you can. "
"Absolutely loved the staff and their hospitality! Thanks for Kimberly at the on-site Restaurant and Priscilla at the front desk. Thank you. My family enjoyed every bit of our stay(s)."
"This resort is beautiful. Welcome protocal with the cool towel and refreshing drink is a nice touch. Pool area very awesome. Each restaurant and bar was lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff (shout out to kind Elvis and Eric who helped us upon arrival, Jomar at the rooftop restaurant, Josue and Eric at the pool bar, Tyrone at the ocean bar, Claudia & Caroline who served the poolside cabanas, helpful Celena with concierge service, and sweet Danielle at the Salt and Sea restaurant with our private dinner in the wine cellar). All were gracious, kind, and amazing components to the resort staff.
The sargassum problem made the man-made beach front stay not as enjoyable. The ocean view reefhouse we stayed in was dated and had mildew in bathroom, making the price not worth it. The first day, we did not have hot water in the main bathroom sinks or in the kitchen and we had tiny ants in the kitchen even though we hadn't cooked or eaten in there yet. The staff did quickly rectify this the next day, for which we were thankful (thank u again Eric). However, the view of the empty beach (minus the brown in the water) was beautiful and it was very close to the oceanside bar and pizzeria restaurant.
Overall, the resort is nice. Fantastic spa! Safe area. Lots of food and drink options. Golfcart parking right accross street is convenient. Pools are great! Staff is exceptional!!!"
