"Lovely little gem with comfortable rooms and a fantastic shower. It was a little bit noisy having the window facing the garden Pub but it closed at a reasonable hour!"

"The Lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable ideal for a family or couple with a dog, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, and so spacious!... the views of Milbrook and Plymouth from Lodge 23 are astounding. A great place to relax. Although pet friendly, I think if you own just one, well behaved dog he or she should be allowed off-lead and monitored closely...but it's a no, I understand why, but my dog is a registered working dog and it was her holiday too. "It was a nice hotel in a good location. Staff also nice and helpful. However my single room was TINY. Single bed squeezed in with wall at foot of bed, so my toes touched this when I stretched out. "Nice and extremely clean highly recommended."

We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely with plenty of vegetarian options for me, good price and large portions. We didn’t use the parking as came by train and walked from the station which was a bit of a trek for two pensioners and took us...

"The room was utilitarian, at best, and cold. Staff were unable to get the heat turned on. After 2 days of requests a space heater was finally provided."

"This is the second time I’ve stayed here. Wonderful boutique hotel. Extremely convenient and squeaky clean. Hospitality amazing. I’ll always be a repeat client."

"Clean room, helpful staff, appropriate amenities. Parking was a little issue but this was outside of the staff’s control and they provided appropriate alternative parking as our initial space was taken by a member of the public"
