"This was a wonderful cottage for a large group of people. Plenty of rooms for multiple families, toys and a swing set for kids, a lovely view over the water, and fully stocked kitchen/bathrooms. Highly recommend!"

"The hosts were incredibly responsive throughout our stay, which made check in, and any other reason to communicate wonderful and very easy. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable and cozy. Despite being a bit closer to the road than expected, the hot tub and fire pit was located behind the home, making it a very relaxing place to hang out. Trail access was also very close and incredibly beautiful for a walk along the water or into the woods. We wery happy with our stay, and the amenities available to us. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing girls' weekend away."

"There was a full sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker and the room was clean. Lots of plugs for recharging devices. Bathroom has an old tub with shower curtains. We didn’t care cause we were busy away from the room for most of the day. When you think of value for the money spent, it’s a good deal."

"Rooms were not to clean, there was not enough towels, drain in showers and sinks was not working. We rent few times from Vrbo company , this property is not up to their standards. Place was pet- friendly, beautiful scenery and good communication with the host"

"We spent a sunny weekend together as an yearly expanded family gathering to enjoy the fall colors although too early for that. We appreciate the clear instructions sent to us before arrival except that the garbage sorting was confusing but it has more to do with dealing with local rules. The district should do a better job in either educating outsiders or make things easier for them. It was acceptably clean although I found myself wanting to do a better cleaning of the bench and tables. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna plus the trampoline. The fools ball and air hockey tables were in good shape although we were too tired for that after a whole day outside. The water of the Sandy Lake was crystal clear. Unfortunately, it felts a bit dangerous crossing the road to the beach so only part of the group could enjoy that. We also visited the Adam and Eve Rocks which was great. Overall, we were very happy about our stay."

"Nice little hotel. A little out of date but no real issues. 5 min walk to kawartha ice-cream store. Our room had a king size bed a sauna and a whirlpool tub. Everything worked. Continental breakfast was decent. I would come back again"
