Modern two-bedroom apartment a few steps from the historic center of Catania.



The apartment, located on the first floor, welcomes guests into a functional living room furnished with a double sofa bed, a dining table, a desk and a TV. From here guests have direct access to the independent kitchen with oven and the sleeping area, which includes two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Each bedroom is equipped with a double bed and a wardrobe and has access to the balcony, and one of them also comes with a desk.



Free Wi-fi, washing machine, air conditioning and heating will be at guests’ disposal, as well as a private parking space outside the property.

Catania can boast a beautiful historical center, listed among the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Its architectural wonders, as well as the colorful street markets, the wild beauty of Mount Etna and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts will literally seduce you.

Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are really worth a visit.

And obviously, it is impossible not to mention Catania’s culinary tradition, with its typical arancini (fried rice balls), the iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), Sant’Agata’s olivette (typical sweets made of almond paste and colored in green) and the famous brioches with granita.

For horse meat lovers, Via del Plebiscito with its typical street embers is really not to be missed. You can already smell the delicious aroma even from a long way off!

An unmissable stop-over just outside the city is the coast, and more specifically the beautiful Gulf of Acitrezza, where in 1881 Giovanni Verga set his best known novel, “I Malavoglia”.
