"We stayed in the upstairs apartment of a farmhouse. The owners Mom was very thorough in her checking procedures even though her English was limited. The apartment was well insulated and clean. "This is a stunning hotel with the most beautiful gardens and views. The quirky original elevator takes you back in time. The staff are very friendly & the breakfast was great. There is a shuttle bus service to & from the city gates as well as the view point at Michelangelo square, which we used several times during our week long stay. It’s a great place for people wanting to relax when not exploring the surrounding countryside. But not great for children. Highly recommend L "
