I was very surprised to have received a room upgrade - west facing, simply the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in and, a gorgeous bathroom with decent water pressure. If I had an extra day to my trip, I would have spent it in the hotel really taking advantage of the bar, lounge and restaurant. Or, just sleeping in - the bed was that comfortable. When I return to Bologna, I will only stay at Savhotel Aemilia."

"Excellent choice of accommodation with self catering kitchenette, and laundry services which is very convenient in the heat of the Bologna summer! A nice alternative to a traditional hotel. Hotel very close to some very cool bars and restaurants, you do not have to go far to find a very vibrant nightlife. Can be a little noisy at night especially at weekend but this is only a minor issue as everything else about the place was perfect. "
