"We booked this because we were coming in with family to do the Tamarack half marathon and couldn’t have picked a better place. The home has two large beautiful decks backing onto the Nation River we never got tired of the view. The host Chris was very responsive from check in to check out. We found the home exceeded our expectations very spacious well equipped in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. We would definitely stay again. "

However, it’s quite far from Ottawa, so keep that in mind if you plan to explore the city. Overall, I highly recommend this property for a tranquil getaway, and I would definitely return!"

"Although we brought our toddler's old Nuna to sleep in, there was room to place the Vrbo mattress on the floor to use as a toddler bed. If your child needs darkness to sleep, I recommend bringing blackout curtains because the store light from across the street is fairly bright. If you have a mobile toddler, bring a pressure mounted baby gate for the basement entrance in-between the kitchen and living room. Pleasantly surprised to find big toys and plush animals in the kid's room. Kid's room has 2 outlets, we moved the dressers in front to block access. The best part of the property was the backyard because the sun hits the patio and yard in the morning. We enjoyed walking around the spacious yard and basking in the sunshine with Timmy's (from across the street)."
