We missed our chance at the lunch menu (Monday-Friday) unfortunately but allowed us to try almost every item on the dinner menu which never disappoints. We enjoyed wine tastings and walks around the property but most of Our days at the there were spent pool side where we had wine and ice cream. A day trip to Florence is easy and reception took care of all taxi requests. We look forward to our wine arriving that was shipped...

"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. "We had a lovely stay at Podere Vigliano Vecchio in Scandicci, Tuscany outside of Florence. We stayed in La Stalla(the stable). What a delightful experience! The suite is ancient but very comfortable, better than we had envisioned it. It was nice to be able to get out of the noise of the city at night and sit in the gardens.
