"Cute house, felt welcoming upon walking in. Kitchen had everything needed for basic cooking, if you want a crock pot, etc, bring yours along. Bathroom is roomy, plenty of towels, etc.. beds were super comfy. House sits on a dead end street, 3/4 mile walk total, perfect for walking our dog.... Short path in woods as well, but apply bug spray. Visited several wineries, all within a 30 min drive. Walmart, abc store, fast food, etc just 4 miles away in Zion crossroads. Enjoyed firepit, used gas grill, enjoyed sitting outside on patio. Bring a fire stick or Roku for watching TV, if you choose to do so. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and would come again if we have the opportunity. Host replied to all inquires promptly..... Thank you for having us."

"Second time staying at this gem! The owner is very responsive and informative! House is super clean, Stocked with items you would normally bring yourself. Will definitely be back! Several Wineries near by, Float the James River, the cute town of Scottsville is 10 minutes away."

"What a wonderful place. My wife and I had a great stay with our teenage grandsons. The accommodations were perfect. Property is right on the James River and we had a great time wading, swimming, and fishing in it. Brought back memories from my younger years. Lots of animals and so close to the town of Scottsville. The hosts were fantastic and we really enjoyed chatting with them. It felt like family staying here.Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful place with us."

"Host was very kind and responsive. House had a great layout for our group It was raining so we didnt get to enjoy the fire pit or the new gas grill. 2 kitchens and 2 family rooms and the gaming area was fun especially with the wet weather. Huge refrigerator upstairs and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and clean house"
