"What an excellent country pub. We have a lovely steak meal and used the garden to sit outside and have a drink before retiring to our room. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.Breakfast was well cooked and very enjoyable.
Our room was lovely and clean but the toilet flush didn’t work as well as it should.
Overall we had lovely meals and a great stay made better by the welcoming friendly and attentive staff"

"Had a lovely one night stay in the beautifully decorated and accessorised accommodation. Bed very comfortable, every comfort you could wish for provided. Peaceful, provided breakfast in patio garden when we saw a deer slowly walk through front garden. What a treat! Recommended!"

"Michael was an excellent host, communication was quick and nothing was too much trouble. I loved the place. Everything was as described and pictured. Had everything i needed for my 2 night stay. The addition of an airfryer made meals easier to decide what to have. Will definitely be back if the availability is there when i am next this way. The bed was one of the most comfortable i have slept in and slept really well. Thank you Matthew"
"Not suitable for older people as lots of trip hazards and lots and lots of small lampsHeating was difficult to get warm as set to max temp of 19 Shame no tv Had to move out into my daughter’s house in the end on Xmas morning as so cold in bedrooms Nice idea and probably fine for a young couple but gate was very tricky to drive into "
