"The resort is located on the side of the hill so you could see down in the valley, which is very beautiful in the morning. The rooms are very clean spacious bathrooms. The resort also has parking lot. The drive to the resort is windy, twisty uneven roads I was the only thing that I didn’t like But the resort itself is amazing. "

The desk got us a taxi for departure at train station. Our only regret was not staying longer. We loved this hotel & will stay here again happily. "

Beds very comfortable and large rooms with plenty of space. Just short on plug sockets for the all important phone charging. Dog friendly so you can bring your best four-legged friend with you too. "Had a fantastic time at Roccafiore. We were really optimistic before the trip and our time there did not disappoint. The staff from the very beginning were fantastic, always going out of their way to accommodate. The restaurant and services on site are of the highest quality. We enjoyed every meal, and took advantage of the pool and spa services. Would highly recommend a wine tasting as well. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely stay at Grand Hotel San Gemini! It’s a beautifully renovated hotel with great attention to detail, located in a fantastic spot right in the old town—peaceful, quiet, and full of charm. Free parking just a few meters away was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready and happy to assist. The highlight for us was definitely the swimming pool—absolutely fantastic, surrounded by greenery and perfect for relaxing on a hot day. Highly recommended!."

"We had a marvelous time in Macerino! Our hosts were most welcoming and attentive and probably the nicest people in Italy. Our accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, with the best beds we have slept on in the whole country. It was quiet and peaceful and remote, and that was part of the appeal. We did take day trips down the mountain to visit other cities for lunch, thus avoiding driving the mountain road after dark. We ate twice at La Fontana, and both times were an exercise in gastronomic quality and plenty. Otherwise, we got our groceries in Aquasparta and shared food and wine on the roof porch. Overall, an excellent experience if you truly need to get away and see small-town life with stunning mountaintop scenery in Italy. Gracie to our kind hosts! Jim and Lynne"
