"Hotel Isaac's is in the Victorian Quarter of Cork. Mere blocks from the train station and bus stops, plus the bridge over the River Lee to the City Center of Cork. Loved my room shared with my friend. Ate breakfast at Greens Restaurant every day. Definitely would stay again. Thank you to the staff."

"Do not attempt to drive to the hotel unless you have accessibility issues. The quays are under construction and the lanes are very tight. Otherwise the hotel is grand for the price, the breakfast is very tasty and the food is good quality."

"The service -- warmth, responsiveness, sense of humour -- of the staff were the best we have ever experienced. Ditto for the quality of the breakfast as well -- incredible variety of fresh, mostly locally sourced items so that even the continental option was an array of choices unlike any other of this type. Our room was luxurious: super comfy bed, gorgeous view, space, niceties in the room for making espresso, tea or regular coffee."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, there was a kettle and a mini fridge. Beds were comfortable. It was close for the things we needed. Walking distance to some restaurants. We always saw staff cleaning. The pool was great. Didn't realize I needed a swim cap but they have them available for sale at the pool desk. We didn't use the on-site bar or restaurant. The restaurant has a nice sun room that looked like a great place to enjoy some down time. We did have noise from the room next door because of the adjoining room door which didn't have any sound damping. Also we ended up booking a double room and the beds were small. They did provide a flat sheet for us as it was too warm in the room for a duvet."

"Location was great! The street behind is full or restaurants and pubs, the English Market is walking distance and busses to many places can be caught at City Hall, right across the river (5 minute or less walk). The room was very comfortable and well designed with a comfortable king bed and a little area with a table and kettle. The bathroom was spacious and had a great shelf for toiletry bags. It was clean, quiet and in a great location!"

"We stayed in the apartment. No housekeeping during a 4-night stay. Staff didn’t answer the phone “because we are really busy.” The downside is being up on the hill away from restaurants etc. but still worth it. Beautiful gardens and property."
