"The good points about the hotel were the breakfast, the staff, who were helpful and the rooms which were for the most part well maintained. We had several very positive interactions with the front desk and on the whole they met our needs. The location is pretty good and there is access to a sandy beach at low tide. Do bear in mind that the hotel is close to the port, so noise can be an issue if you room on the mountain side of the property. The wireless was extremely weak. As this was (partly)...

"Large bedroom with separate sitting area. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the pool as it was being renovated but it will look great once it’s completed. Breakfast was very good and all staff were friendly and accommodating."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Flag Design Hotel in Viana. The staff is super friendly and the hotel very comfortable. Perfectly located at the center of the city, clean and convenient. We appreciated we could watch the FIFA World Cup games from the room or cafeteria and loved the library and conference rooms as we needed to do some work/study. 100% recommended! Very grateful with the staff!"

"Great hotel in the centre, staff a very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well decorated. Hotel is very beautiful inside and out. Good facilities with a modest gym, good sauna and steam room. Piano player at breakfast is a nice touch, creates a lovely atmosphere."
