"The location is perfect and the efficiency of the staff was very good. We just felt the apartment needs a few decorative touches, in particular the hot tub area as it is rather plain - some ‘twinkly’ lights or artwork would make a huge difference. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to other people and hope our review is constructive and helpful."

"Friendly staff including one who formerly and by sheer coincidence worked at the good old boarding school I proudly attended years ago. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with everything including the high standards location and amenities. Cleanliness were very good apart from some surfaces needed a little dusting and one of the bedroom lamps didn’t work though again, overall the standards are extremely high and I’d certainly recommend future guests and I’d certainly return."

"Gorgeous old pub with updated lovely comfortable rooms. Staff all lovely and the food was amazing had dinner and breakfast. Fabulous big beer garden too for the nice weather"

"Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower was excellent although the fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy. The only downside about the hotel was there is no parking."

"Only had a short stay at this lovely little place Staff very chatty/friendly Had minor issue which was dealt with promptly and without any question or fuss The breakfast choices were very good and cooked as you asked for it .. not just your average semi warm buffet, cooked fresh The restaurant food was also very good with plenty of choices Our bathroom was in need of some TLC but is due for upgrade - did not affect there was plenty of hot water, clean towels daily and lovely soaps etc already provided Would definitely stay again Thanks to all the staff again for all their hard work"

"Lovely property (second time staying), lovely food, and the rooms are a nice finish with a really good shower! Thought it may have been loud over the bar, but it was quite a quiet night we stayed, so it was not an issue. Breakfast 10/10 and so was the dinner (the pie is fully recommended)"
