"We were unsure what area in Paris to stay in and selected Montmarte because it seemed to have many walkable sites and markets. It surpassed our expectations! The Hotel Des Artes is a jewel box. It’s comfortable, though snug, beautiful, convenient and just off the Main Street. The staff was authentic and interested in providing a wonderful experience to the guests. I will stay there again on any future visits to Paris!"

"It’s close to everything"

"The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful. The location can’t be beat - right on Rue Cler which is full of cafe’s and markets. We stayed 2 nights and our first room was lovely. We had to switch rooms for the second night (we booked them separately so had to switch) and the second room we stayed in was extremely tiny - so small it was difficult to move in with 2 people, 2 carryon suitcases and 2 backpacks. Otherwise, it was perfect!"

"I had not stayed in a hotel for a long time. I’m glad that I chose to stay at The Basss. The staff were all very good and the room was very clean."

"The hotel is in a great location, elevator and ac were super. Our room only got cleaned once that week which was not great. Bedding was not changed at all I don't think. Our shower drain let in the smell of sewers which was gross and made the whole room damp. Staff were helpful. Building clean and well maintained."
