The Story Book Cottage is a gem of a property in the quaint town of Carmel-by-the-Sea just two blocks from Carmel Plaza and a short walk to the beach. This 2 bedroom 2 bath home which sleeps up to 6 offers indoor-outdoor living with 4 outdoor seating areas and an easy-to-use gas firepit.The Story Book Cottage offers 2 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed) and 2 full baths (with shower and tub) plus a cozy sitting room with a Queen sofa bed that overlooks the garden.

"Loved our stay at this darling renovated cottage. Nearly everything is new and clean while appointed with tasteful personal details. The house is so close to town but is surprisingly quiet and a quick walk to hiking trails. We love the multiple conversation areas throughout the property - inside and out. And as foodies we really appreciated the excellent quality cookware and knife set" S.T. May 2025

Walk to the beach and view the homes along Scenic Drive, walk to Carmel Plaza for wine tasting, boutique shopping, or visit our favorite cheese shop and microbrewery. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were an easy walk to everywhere and it was such a treat to be able to do that. This is one of those rare occasions where reality was even better than the pictures. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for an extended stay; all of it high quality and clean clean clean. Melissa gave us all the directions we needed to check in and check out and responded to any questions quickly. We highly recommend Storybook Cottage.
