This completely renovated Carmel home is now ready to welcome guests.
Beautiful furnishings, appointments and amenities have been carefully selected and placed throughout this 1,552 sf home.

Located in a quiet, established neighborhood in the Mission Fields area, not far from the Crossroads and Barnyard Shopping Centers, Carmel Mission Basilica and Carmel River Beach, guests of this home will be central to everything up and down the coast. The natural wonders of Point Lobos State Reserve and Big Sur are just a short drive away, and downtown Carmel by the Sea and the entire Monterey Peninsula are also just a short drive from the home.

Living areas and kitchen are fully renovated and well-equipped with all the necessities of life and many extras for your comfort. Modern light fixtures, new hard floor surfaces, stainless steel appliances, stunning tiled backsplash and gold accents adorn the kitchen.

A decorative fireplace in the living room, with a large flat screen TV mounted above, is a great place to gather for conversation on the comfy sofa. An additional seating area has a long table and 5 armchairs, perfect for TV viewing, playing games or even working on your laptop. The living room, dining area and kitchen are open concept and the high ceilings give the space an airy, lofty feeling. The TV is wifi-enabled for guests to log into their own streaming apps (no cable).

The living room sliding door opens toward the large, privacy-fenced front yard with an attractive deck which provides a seamless transition from inside to outside. A gas BBQ grill is on hand and ready to go.

Very Happy

This home was the perfect size for our family of 6 adults. We easily had room for 2 more adults. The house was clean, had everything we needed, and was close to everything on our itinerary. The staff were very friendly, quick, and helpful to respond to our needs and make sure our check in was easy. Some of our guests preferred fluffier pillows, but overall we had no complaints and enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully renovated little house

Really enjoyed this nice little house. Perfectly fit for adults for a golf trip. Only minutes from downtown Carmel for dinner and drinks.

Great location for Carmel/Monterey proximity plus quiet refuge

Enjoyed our stay here. Great location, walking distance to a main shopping plaza with great coffee, restaurants, and groceries. Quick drives to the beach and aquarium, but nice to be away from the action. House is a bit smaller than we anticipated, but we made do. Had an issue with a clogged toilet first night there from previous guest. An inconvenience but they have an after hours line and made the repair first thing during normal business hours next day.

Great house in nice location

This house was perfect for our family. We had two adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of space and the area was close to downtown Carmel. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful!

We had a lovely time at Carmel Pearl. The house was pristine upon arrival and the welcoming wine, music and cheese were very appreciated. The home is cozy and in an ideal location. We biked the 17 mile Drive, ate at many charming Carmel restaurants, and enjoyed going to Carmel beach. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Amazing vacation!

Pleasant midweek getaway

Clean with a modern feel. While the house has good amenities overall, the kitchen has only the bare minimum of cooking utensils. This probably won’t bother most guests, but we travel with another couple every year: because we like to cook together when we meet up, this was a drawback.

Everyone got a bed and it was nice and open so we could gather around a chat. It was close enough to town (only a $10 Uber) and the town is so cute. The beds were decently comfortable and showers were amazing. Only thing I would say is that should add more mirrors and especially a full length mirror so multiple people can get ready at the same time.

It is in a great location--10 minutes from downtown Carmel and five minutes from a great shopping center for groceries as well as great meals. The house was immaculate. The outdoor deck is quite private and a good size for six adults. There was plenty of room in the driveway and right in front of the house for parking three cars. Sanctuary Vacation Rentals was a terrific company to deal with. They were professional and efficient, answering our questions immediately before and during our rental period. We would definitely recommend this rental company for any rental needs in the Carmel area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay. Only suggestion is to add a couple of full length mirrors. Only 2 mirrors in the house are the two in the bathrooms. Makes it hard to get ready when 7 people are staying in the house. Also, trash cans in the bathroom. Water pressure in the smaller bathroom needs to be checked, it was barely dripping. None of these things really bothered us, but we would have liked. We might have missed it because it was stored somewhere else, but we didn’t see any outside furniture, so we couldn’t spend anytime in the beautiful yard. Also beach chairs.

Most welcoming home ever.

It was unanimous, as we all felt this home had the cleanest, most well-appointed, and most up to date renovations of all the homes we have stayed. Plus this home is nestled into a quiet and secure pocket in a peaceful residential neighborhood. The driveway had plenty of space, and the outdoors were neat and well tended to. The interior is the highlight. Modern kitchen, well-appointed bathrooms, plenty of sitting space in the main area, and plush bedding. We are an outdoorsy family, and this neighborhood is very convenient to the village of Carmel, as well as accessing the state parks and shopping (supermarket, Starbucks, etc.). After exploring the greater area each day, we felt very at peace returning to this modest home with a luxurious interior. Another key benefit and very satisfying experience here is dealing with Sanctuary (management co.). I received a phone call from one of their customer service folks in advance of our trip to pre-welcome us, and a follow up call the day after we arrived. Plus, the home was staged for our arrival... soft music on the TV, a bottle of wine, cheese & crackers, lights on, and as clean as could be. That made us feel truly welcome. Thank you Sanctuary!
