We spent most of our time in the spacious open kitchen/dining area and on the porch over looking the lake. The space was perfect for the 8 of us. We played pool, walked the dirt country road, and our dog loved the fenced in yard. It's close to Mount Vernon, Kenyon College, Mohican Park, Kokosing Gap Trail, and several golf courses."

"My daughter, her family and myself stayed at the lodge over the Christmas holiday. It was a wonderful experience. The lodge itself was beautiful and the petting zoo was a huge hit with my grandchildren. The animals were so friendly and the hands down winner was Humphrey the camel. If you like animals and the "country" life you will love this place."
