"The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. "

"Really lovely comfortable bed, nice bathroom, fast running and hot bath, but toilet roll fell on the floor every time due to faulty holder, very bad signposting of rooms, both from reception and particularly from main hotel, could still be there wandering the corridors if we hadn’t come across a staff member, didn’t try breakfast, staff were good. Facilities for kids in the main hotel were fantastic at half term, very family friendly, reasonably priced alternative to the large main hotel"

"Wonderful hotel"

"Old with an interesting history and situated in pleasant grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was excellent although a bit pricy. Room was on the small side but lovely. Only issue was the two large steps up into the bathroom with no handrails. Some people may find this problematic. "

"A very pleasant stay at The Celtic International... we staayed in two double rooms which were spacious woth a comfy bed and large en-suite. Staff were helpful and the breakfast as an additional was lovely. Decor a little dated but didnt prevent us from having a good stay! "
