"We had a superior sea front room which was very big & comfortable. Everything was good. The staff were very helpful & polite. It was just a shame the frontage & entry to the hotel was a bit worn out & old fashioned. Tables and chairs and a few pot plants would have been good. A new carpet at the entrance & a lick of paint would have made such a difference. "

"We've just returned from a lovely, 2 night stay here. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, opposite the pier and just a 5-10 minute walk into town. Approximately 15 minutes from the train station. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were hearty. Full English then some! Cereal, fruit, pastries, yogurts, ham, cheeses etc. Rooms were cosy and comfortable yet spacious. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. It's an old property but modernised although there is no lift nor ramp. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Overall it was an extremely pleasant stay,staff,food,cleanliness all good. The only suggestion i would make is to fit "grab handles "to help when getting in and out of the bath.I did bring it to a member of staff who said it would be done.I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
