"Excellent location for exploring Llanberis and nearby area. Close to start of walk up Snowdon, the steam trains, the Ceunant Mawr waterfall, Dolbadarn Castle, Padarn Country Park and the Slate museum. Good breakfast choices and the meals in the bar were all excellent but pricey. Hotel bit dated and bit of a maze finding room/lifts/stairs. Large, clean, quiet room with nice view of surrounding mountains. Very comfortable bed. Creaky floorboards! Bathroom a bit small but decent shower. "

"Lovely rooms and lovely hotel. Good location and sufficient parking when we got there. Our rooms were nice. One had very recently been refurbished and there were a couple of unfinished things, but the staff dealt with those really quickly when we mentioned them. Nice bar for the evening and good breakfast (although extending the breakfast hours might be good - 8-9am on a Sunday was a little earlier than we'd have liked). Overall, lovely stay and will definitely come back (visiting family in the area)."
