This is an older hotel, in a lovely spot next to the harbour, nice places to walk. The staff were super helpful, getting a taxi for the morning afterwards and the restaurant menu had several great choices for both vegetarian and Celiac (gluten free) clearly marked. A really good choice of dishes all round, to be honest that all sounded excellent for a small hotel, surprisingly! I had the salmon and it was delicious!
We stayed for the week so we could go to the Eisteddfod, they even found a space for us to store the harp. Room was clean and tidy, staff were friendly. We joined in the weekly quiz and weekly bingo. A good location and would stop again.

So what can I say apart from this place is a hidden gem , it looks tired , looks can be very deceiving, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the room we had was spacious and very clean , the food incredible , Five stars , loads of choice for everyone, I always find it hard to find a good vegan meal ( normally it’s a burger) not here the menu is amazing, the portions large , all in all definitely worth a stay
The breakefast was good. Excellent supper. The trails nearby the view! Everything was amazing.

The room was very clean and comfortable tbe staff were amazing so friendly and helpful in all ways. The food was varied and excellent i would recommend this hotel .thank you for making our visit memorable xx
Positives great location ideal for as we were doing catching Holyhead ferry good views from bedroom window over bay. Hotel felt tired ,lacking attention to detail ie curtain rail was falling of the wall and soap dispenser over sink did not work . Overall OK for one night but we wouldn’t want to stay any longer .
Happy with our stay .. clean and fresh beds .. lovely view .. car park available .. nice staff .. didn’t eat here so can’t comment but looked nice from what I saw
Perfect for us . We couldn’t check in before 10pm they left a key for us the room was spotless and lovely and warm we left early never met anyone very surreal but for us perfect
Room had a gorgeous view, staf was great and location is right next to the start of a beautiful walking path through a park along sea cliffs and beautiful views of the ocean
Perfect location for ferry crossings. Small, quaint, safe & quiet hotel with wonderful , attentive staff. Food was excellent, home cooked. Right in the water with beautiful view of harbor.
The owner was friendly and very helpful during checkin. The hoel is undergoing renovations at the hotel moment but these did not interfere with our stay.
Clearly the folks here are working hard to bring this lovely old inn back to life. A few kinks to be worked out, but we enjoyed our night there. The food in restaurant was very good, if a bit limited on item availability.
