"Overall we thought the accommodation was excellent, clean and comfortable. The view of The Strait was an added bonus. Well appointed but there were stairs to negotiate if in the 3rd floor. The service was excellent however we ate in the restaurant and this let service levels down. It was a particularly busy evening and diners were left waiting while a till issue was sorted. Then we were told the kitchen might be closed. More training needed."

"We chose Holyhead because it’s close to South Stack (incredible scenery, and lots of birds - and baby birds!), and Newborough (we didn’t end up going there, but it sounds beautiful). Holyhead itself is a bit run down, and not a tourist destination, more of a pass-through place according to the locals. But The Hut was close to Market Street with pubs, restaurants and grocery stores, and an easy walk from the train station. We managed to get a taxi to South Stack (there aren’t a lot of them),...

"My brother and i stayed here for the weekend. We were greeted warmly by the staff here, he was a really friendly and helpful person. The room was small but cosy. The location is second to none, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Llanberis. We had pizza here the 2nd evening and it was sublime. We also had a chance to meet the owner aswell, and she was lovely too. A really amazing place to stay."
