"We had no problem with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service and food was excellent. The only drawback was the hotel has a generator, but during loadshedding all the plugs and lights are off. So during the evenings you only have a small light in the room. If you are an outdoor person, there are lots to do during the day. We will definitely go back if they do an upgrade on their generator."

"This was our second time staying at Simbavati and though it certainly didn't disappoint, it also didn't surprise. The lodges are very cute and tidy but are short of a TV. The food in the restaurant is good but not excellent. The spa treatments were disappointing, especially for the price. Cederberg is for hiking/biking, more to do at the lodge would be appreciated, otherwise it's not the highest value for money. "The bathroom are so compact and lots of sillicon. Not great to have shower in the bath. Dinner was ok but at breakfast there was no spoons and serviettes on the table. I asked the waiter and he never came. i had to go look at the cutlery table and found only one spoon in the basket. The staff was ok. "

"The self catering unit met all our needs. The enclosed garden was perfect for our small yorkies. The units are of decent size, comfortable beds. The premises are well-maintained. This is a perfect location to explore Langebaan and Paternoster. R500 deposit is required upon check in. Staff on duty complained about a check in complaint we had - very unprofessional. "

"For the price it was just ok. Very sleepy, minimal vibe, ice cold pool that you really couldn’t enjoy. Room and bathroom were nice, but probably wouldn’t stay again for the price. Has a lot of potential but just kinda boring. Seems everyone bright their babies too lol Definitely check out the rooftop gin bar next door and the incredible BbQ restaurant a couple blocks down. "
