"This a small and somewhat remote property in a charming old building and is a pleasant, quiet place to stay. A single employee appeared to be running the place, and was not present on arrival, but the place was nevertheless in good shape and clean, and the breakfast was good."
"Our stay was absolutely lovely. Mary is a wonderful host and inn keeper. The property was gorgeous and the food absolutely terrific. 100% recommend the Inn for your next Nova Scotia vacation. "

"The weather was amazing during our stay July 18-20, 2025 the room was well air conditioned so you could sleep comfortably. The fact there was an ice cream parlour downstairs was a big added bonus. It was also very quiet in the room you would never know there was an ice cream parlour downstairs. It was close to anywhere you wanted to go.
It was my son and nephews first time to the island so it was a great experience for both of them and they really enjoyed themselves. I would recommend Holmans to anyone looking for a place to stay on the island it’s a home away from home."
"Our stay at your property was really good. The room was big and clean and the staff was really friendly and nice . The breakfast was tasty and really good. Thanks for everything."
"A perfectly lovey place to stay in summerside. Great service and clean newer rooms. It’s about a 10min walk from the main drag in summerside and the waterfront action. If you want a nice easy stay this is the place. "
"We were in town for the CBMF. No complaints about our stay. We had a dinette unit that was nice and spacious. We were unable to hear neighboring rooms. The staff were nice and friendly, the lady especially. Thank you."
"Lesley is such a gracious host, providing scrumptious breakfast and so thoughtfully accommodating gluten-free options. Lovely heritage home in a quiet setting, it provided great accommodations and we met lovely people at breakfast from various parts of Canada. Knowledgeable, helpful to find activities and dining, and very welcoming.
I’d recommend this to everyone, and would love to return!! "
