"Outdoor bar still open and outstanding as usual. Thoroughly enjoyed our room in the " newer section"-- we'll look to book future stays in this section Cape May has been our "go to destination" for over 40 years and it and the Marquis have never disappointed us!"

"My husband and I loved Avondale! This was our first time here, and we would love to return. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and made you feel like family. Our room had a wonderful view of the beach across the street from our front window and balcony. The balcony had a small table & 2 rockers to sit in which were comfortable. Our room was spotless and was kept beautiful all week. The staff did some cute creative bows with the towels. The continental breakfast offered fruit, cereal, fresh bagels, various muffins & donuts, ice water & juices. There was nice, mellow music in the background, not loud. The staff maintained the area for cleanliness constantly. We easily walked to places & tours in town. Most shops & restaurants are close by. We just loved being able to wake up & go across the street to the beach to walk & see the sunrise. In the evening we walked to see the sunset. Recommend!"
