"Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly front desk staff. The star of our stay was the restaurant attached and more specifically Jessie - our server. She was phenomenal during dinner when we first arrived and remembered us the next day for breakfast and even seated us at our same table. The food was also fantastic - compliments to the cooks!"

"We drove from Ontario to Cape Breton to get away from it all. This cottage was great for a couple and small dog. I could also see it suitable for two couples or small family. The cottage has everything you need. The view itself is worth it. We loved watching the fisherman in the mornings with our coffee. It was nice to be able to sit inside, on the deck or in the screen room depending on the weather. The ever-changing skyline was just beautiful. We liked that it was central on the island to get to all of the places we wanted to visit (whale watching, Louisbourg etc.). The cottage is down a gravel road so prepare for that. Also Richard really helped us out when our next VRBO got cancelled at the last minute and left us scrambling far from home and with nowhere to stay. He was able to get us in for another night while we found accommodations. He responds extremely quick. So if you want tranquility and privacy this place has it in spades. Would visit again!"
