"The Grand Bentley is a beautiful lodge-like house. We liked the lodge-themed feel of the place and the decorating. The spacious open floor plan had amble room for our family of nine. It was really nice to have the four large tables in the kitchen which were set up in two groups of two. We used one set for meals and the other two to store our groceries and to set up a jigsaw puzzle. We liked having the Keurig coffee maker that could make both a pot of coffee and also brew using pods. The bedrooms were spacious. We had plenty of bath towels but could have used some additional kitchen towels. Our family enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, having a fire in the fire pit, soaking in the large hot tub (fun lights at night!), and gaming in the theater. We spent most of our weekend at Hocking Hills State Park which was less than a half hour away. It was nice to come back to the house on a rainy afternoon where we could still enjoy the scenery through the big windows.We would definitely stay here again."

"The house and property were perfect for our needs. The layout is great and functional, the game room kept everybody entertained, and there was plenty of space for the whole group to get together and small groups to do their own thing. There were 6 kids in the house and they always had something to keep them busy and somewhere to do their own thing. The main issue with the property is that there appears to be an issue with the septic system, as in after every use - bathroom, shower, dishwasher, the exterior of the house gets a very strong sewage smell - and with 15 guests, it's obvious going to get used. It was bad enough to limit window opening and time spent on the patios, which was a shame. We'd absolutely come back if that got resolved. Another issue to note was the upstairs bedroom closet had mold and I didn't consider it useable for that reason."

"As someone who thoroughly enjoys walking through the woods, staying in the Copperhead cabin was exceptionally wonderful. The oaks, hickory, sassafras, black gum…the diversity was a thrill to experience. Copperhead was nicely situated close to the caves where we hiked for hours, then visited the local eateries. And when we returned in the evening, the ambiance and amenities of Copperhead proved to be welcoming and well worth the price. Kudos to you Mechelle! If only for a brief period, thank you for allowing us into your world. Ken."

"Book this retreat, you won't regret it. The cabin was incredibly clean and the views are to die for. It was so cool being surrounded by earth and rock with a private waterfall. Having coffee in the hot tub first thing in the morning is a must.They also had great WiFi, DVDs on site (we brought a laptop to stream and it worked great) and have a super cute guest book. Don't forget to sign!Couple things to prepare for: the stairs are steep, it's just the nature of how the cabin was built and we adapted easily. Also, if you plan on having a bonfire at night, definitely bring a good flashlight to find your way back!We will definitely be back again!"
